The quality of any child care center is a direct reflection of its staff. Saint Petersburg Christian Preschool recognizes its employees as the childcare’s most valuable component. We have high standards and require continual training. All employees have extensive background screenings done regularly. We require that our faculty be responsible and loving people with a broad knowledge in child development. We require that if they have not already received their CDA (Child Development Associate Degree), they work towards attaining it. We require they exhibit Christian character in the administration of their professional duties. All of our teachers and teacher’s assistants meet or exceed the requirements set by the Pinellas County License Board. In the case where a regular staff member is absent, if another staff member is unable to cover the position a substitute will be called. Our substitutes have all had background screenings and are required to take classes in Early Child Education.
